Widow Walk of Fame

Real Housewives of Moscow (RHOM)

As an initiative to promote inclusivity, Bravo TV has announced a new location for a version of the popular housewives series – Moscow.  To take into consideration of the current world conditions, the cast will be composed of the widows of leading Russian oligarchs. The viewer can expect a fluid rotation of additional cast members due an expected high turnover in the cast specifically in the oligarch husbands and number of the housewives who are married to or widowed by oligarchs.

The wife of the Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin, Lyubov Valentinovna Prigozhina, a pharmacist and businesswoman, who owns a network of boutique stores known as the Chocolate Museum in Saint Petersburg, will be starring in the first series. Besides the connection to her deceased husband, in 2012, she started the Crystal Spa & Lounge in Saint Petersburg, which won a third-place award in 2013 for the Perfect Urban Day Spa.   This reflects the high quality of the series cast.

Also on board for the show is Elena Shcherbinina, the ex-wife of Dmitry Utkin. Dimitry was a former GRU special forces officer and Russian neo-Nazi who served as a lieutenant colonel. He is regarded as the creator of the Wagner Group, and his own call-sign is said to be Wagner.

The blend of notoriety, excess, belligerence and threat of elimination will be the main draw for the viewing audience. The producers of the show admit that casting has been difficult during the year 2022 and 2023 as many of the possible cast members, both wives and husbands, have been made unavailable.
